Dramatic?
Perhaps.
But in my most successful clients, I’ve seen them adopt this one major belief: I belong here.
The reason why this shift is so powerful is because the crazy-cool but unique people that I work with often feel really different.
Being different is actually your super power because it makes you stand out as anything you want to be: a creator, a writer, an entrepreneur, an artist, etc.
No one is like you, so you stand out. But sometimes standing out doesn’t feel so good.
Believe me, I get how scary that can be and I can empathize a LOT.
But when you decide that you belong here, and really own that, a lot of things in your life start changing.
What changes? Well, you show up and put yourself out there more. You hide less.
You do things for the right reasons because you don’t have to prove anything to feel like you will be accepted. You know there is a place for whatever you want to create.
You know you ARE an artist, a musician, a successful business owner, an author–whatever you want to be.
When someone disagrees or you don’t immediately get a lot of positive feedback on something you are working on, you stop taking it so hard.
You can navigate feedback more easily and know when to take advice or when to stand your ground.
You get more done as a result and get farther along because you don’t stop and start as much.
You have more clarity. You hear your intuition stronger. And you’re more successful as a result! You also end up attracting more people who really GET you.
And that belief that you belong? You continually notice more evidence of that.
This whole experience is why I love creating groups to help people feel supported, accepted, and all the benefits of feeling confident you belong *even faster*.
