If you could share what’s really on your mind, what would you say?
This week I have only a short video (below) for you demonstrating my LOVE of speaking up about what I really think and feel and helping other women to do the same.
I’ve come a long way. A month ago I visited Boston for the Ignite Conference by Margaret Lynch and for the first time started blabbing about a little secret: I’m writing a book called from Doormat to Dominatrix and Beyond: it’s all about freedom.
To my surprise since I began sharing, a lot of people want to read it!!
Several years ago I knew I had to write this story and was so shy I had a pen name, Wren Doloro that was a secret. I didn’t even show my face on my blog, but when 5,000 people started visiting my site from around the world I started to realize that I had to make a decision.
I had to decide if I would forever be, “in the closet” with who I was or if I would be openly Sofia and build a following that way. I also knew I wanted to continue my healing practice as more than a massage therapist–I wanted the work to be deeper for my clients and more spiritual.
That’s how I came to decide to take the best of both worlds and become Sofia Wren– a wise and sensitive healer, with a little bit of a badass side. It’s been three years of being in business, and it’s always a journey, but coming to work with more spiritual techniques like Akashic Records and Tarot Readings, Talkin ’bout Angels, Energetic Assessments and EFT, Past life reading and clearing {It’s essential!!}, leading ceremonies as a teacher and priestess–it’s fabulous and I have not turned back, only continued to take each challenge to speak my mind to anyone who asks, “So what do you do?” And that means I’ve been able to help a lot of people, and it’s got benefits for me, too. My life is turning around into something shiny and new in the process.
As the summer approaches, I have plans to finally publish and officially be done hiding my book. Also I’m excited to soon share some new offerings for women who feel certain they have had a past life and suspect it could be holding them back in this life.
Everything I am doing is all to help women to speak up, know exactly what to do next in business and life, and grow into the women they see themselves becoming because they are synched up with who they are born to be.
Yes it’s possible to be a little edgy and be doing spiritual work at the same time.
Maybe you can relate. Is there something you are holding back? If so, I’d love for you to see this video.
Now I won’t say I don’t ever get a little shy–that’s how I know it can be really hard to speak up and be heard! Now before I got on the screen, I got nervous because there was a man I didn’t know behind the camera and I thought, “Man, what is he going to think of THIS?” but I said my piece anyway and was glad. When he turned it off, he said, “You surprised me, but you did great.”

I love the title of your book! Congratulations on moving forward. I am also challenged with telling my story because of how vulnerable I feel, but know it is the right thing to do to help others. I published my novel, Gift of Desperation, with Book Locker (the best and more reasonably priced self publishers out there-tell them I sent you-great customer service, including a cover.) Thanks for sharing! Blessings.
Thanks for commenting Robin!! It can be so hard to speak from the heart, and be vulnerable as you said. I love how you put it–it’s the right thing to help others, and pay it forward. Thank you
