The end of the year is approaching and there are all kinds of things I want to do before it’s over.
And I have something that might help both of us with our goals–
especially if you want to do something daily!
Is there something you want to do daily?
Do you get a little anxiety thinking about what you want to do before the end of the year? I do.
But I don’t think an anxious mind is the best place for me to write and create awestriking things for my business, music or books…
So I’m ready to focus on my daily habits.
Unexpected events in my family like my dad passing in August have contracted my schedule and my energy.
Now I’m behind where I want to be.
For me right now, if I want to make progress I really have to work to get my head in the right place.
Because I know:
I don’t want to just start digging a hole, I need to know that it’s in the right PLACE first.
Otherwise, I’ll waste effort digging it and refilling it back up.
IT’S IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER:
Making progress isn’t just about how quickly you get things done–
it’s about doing the right things at the right time…
So for me, it’s all about being strategic with my time and energy
PLUS I want more magical life moments that remind me why this planet is a good place to keep waking up on.
I need that. That’s just my truth right now.
So what to do now? Where to start?
Well, here is my answer:
GO BACK TO BASICS!
LOOK AT SUPPORTIVE, DAILY HABITS.
This is something I always come back to when I’m feeling overwhelmed, like I’m not doing enough, or when my energy isn’t where I want it to be.
Some habits that I’ve done daily are:
-Writing every day
-Playing music every day
-Checking my priorities on Notion
-Checking in with my business or money
I believe if something helps–like meditation, yoga, journaling, doing art–aim to do it daily.
Look at your habits and look at what helps you do your best every day–if it’s working, keep doing it!
My goal:
These days I really want to meditate while listening to a recording of affirmations or focusing on what I am creating.
What I’m focusing on right now isn’t just my todo list.
I’m focusing on taking time every day to calm my mind and emotions.
Then I can take a step closer into that magical mermaid zone where I get all my inspired ideas and the motivation to put it into practice
And now you…
