I am going to admit some truth to you.
Lately, I have been praying a lot for clarity on the shape of my business as I continue to travel, write my books for the Blood Witch series, and so on.
I was feeling a little down last week to be honest. All the change and uncertainty can really be anxiety-producing. And it’s time to pivot!
Maybe, if you are a business owner, you understand what I mean? Or if not, you can try being in my shoes and get a little taste of what it is like to be an entrepreneur trying to level up.
Since 2013, I have been helping people write, create, and reach their goals. I’ve helped with books, businesses, music careers, and more.​
Not only has it felt good, but helping people pays bills.
However, because writing more is super important to me and I’m tired of waiting for some miracle to drop in my lap, I am making a pivot.
I’m writing my fiction series Blood Witch and aiming to pay my bills with book sales by the end of 2021.
I just have to finish them!
Problem: how do I keep helping people in a big way AND write these books of mine, in the most efficient way possible?
Thank goodness I believe in surrendering because I was feeling discouraged as to the HOW, and I was getting into a pretty negative funk last week.
I had to trust.
I gave my business over to the universe and was like, “Hey, universe! I’m looking for clarity on what to do and some signs, please!”
Then I let all the machinations go and went to the beach. I convinced my fiance Andrew to do the two hours there and back for Valentine’s Day.
Luckily for me, he really likes making me happy 😀 and he also enjoys the beach.
I just lay on the sand for the nice 70-degree day we had randomly. (It’s now gotten colder again so I’m glad we bathed in warmth when we could. As I write, it has started snowing!)
The beach is my special place.
Later, when we were waiting for the train back, and I remembered something I’d noticed the previous day.
I just finished a book and remembered the caption that really lit my fire in the first place.
When I saw the Book of Speculation at Barnes and Nobles a few months before, I turned it over to read this snippet from Oprah.com on the back.
“Mermaids, tarot card readers, a wild man, and other circus performers…”
I didn’t need to know anything more! Sold. I bought the book on the spot even tho it was $16 I hadn’t intended to spend.
Why? Because the words, “Mermaids” + “Tarot” lit my brain up like a Christmas tree. I had to have it.
How often are those things paired together? Seemingly never.
And yet I am obsessed.
Thinking back to this, I suddenly felt all the pieces flow together with some divine insight.
It gave me the idea of something I could create to help people…
A new way to combine my skills along with other things I am passionate about:
A Psychic Mermaid Mastermind!
I suddenly got very excited and started having a million ideas. Here are a few of them:
For the mermaid or merman who wants

- to be more in tune with the way they feel when they are in the water (even when they are outside).
The Psychic Mermaid Mastermind:
A place for people who love the ocean, water, and the creatures who live there.
They can share their intuitive abilities and skills with each other to uplevel their lives, business, and creative projects (including books).
A friend of mine swims with dolphins and afterward sits around a fire with the other swimmers. They all give each other psychic readings on anything they are working on in their lives.
Dolphins are very connected to every vibration and want to connect with others in a helpful way. We can be just like them but on the internet!
Like a magical dolphin pod! Together we are stronger!

All of the ideas are still coming! It is still so full of possibilities.
Traditionally many business owners wait until all the ideas are fully formed to announce something like this, but it just feels good to share what’s happening with you right now.
Sharing NOW not later is a hunch I have and hunches are something I believe in following.
