Have you ever thought:
“I really wish people would see me…
If only I could be recognized for my talent…”
The solution is not what you think. 
I have been there.
And it’s easy to think that the solution to feeling unrecognized by people is to be recognized…
But I can tell you, that what I’ve learned is this is not the solution at all.
The Problem
For instance, in this last year, one of the things I wished could be recognized for was being a straight-up business genius.
I’ve been writing and publishing online for 20 years and building up small businesses for almost 15 years. I’ve had my own business for 10 years.
I know things!
But a year ago I was feeling like this was not translating into how I was being perceived…
like compared to if I were a man for instance, and I was pissed off about it.
Experimenting with Changing Tactics
About a year ago, I decided to do something different.
Something that didn’t include trying to get other people to see me.
Something that did not include proving myself or earning anything more.
I decided to turn it around–
Rather than wait for someone to see me and this genius inside of me, and give me an award (or something),
I wondered what would happen if I put energy into embodying and believing in that genius myself!
“What would happen if I looked in the mirror and saw myself the way I crave to be recognized?” I thought.
The Result
Well it’s been about a year, and it’s been one of my best business years ever!
I’ve loved the clients I’ve helped with writing for their books and business, and I adore leading my Writing Groups. It’s been really successful.
I can look back and say, “WOW. Sofia, you hit your goals more consistently and you actually enjoyed the process a lot more than in the past.”
That to me is genius:
working less, and making more.
being less stressed.
my clients are happy and getting results.
The Lesson
if you desire to be seen a certain way,
see yourself as that person.
That is what really matters…
That’s more powerful than anything you can get from anybody else.
BE that person:
That sparkly, mermaid version of yourself
and continue to believe that is the REAL you.
It’s a bonus when,
as you believe it, and live it,
more people will come to see it.
And more people who resonate with you will naturally come into your life…
