1% Every Day

I never used to think I was creative. Now I get paid to edit and ghostwrite books. I just played my original songs with a band last week. I help other people write and create.

It truly is a turn around. It began with a small practice: write three pages a day.

That little commitment turned into a business and a lifestyle.
Now my goals are to touch my guitar every day and to open my manuscript document for two minutes a day. I try to breath every day as my meditation.

And I know when this book is published, then I will continue work writing something else. I’ve got endless material including three other manuscripts and a tarot deck to work on. Periodically I write new songs or tighten old ones up. Every day there will be some new reason to remind myself to breathe.

You don’t need to go big to change. You’d be surprised how a small breath of change can turn into a whole new life.
