As explained in the first video–many sensitive people and natural healers or spiritual teachers have these fears due to their evolution through multiple lifetimes. That’s right! You may have past life memories and trauma!
I can’t believe it’s been a year since I first posted on YouTube about overcoming these kinds of fears or anxieties using EFT, an acupressure technique called Emotional Freedom Technique or Tapping.
Despite being so freaked out I refused to talk about it for ten years, I started telling my story of how I sought out goddess and earth based spirituality as a youth, and was bullied and called a “witch.” It was a moment that brought on a complete shut down of my creativity, any faith, and my trust in others and myself. I gave up my spirituality, my identity, and my voice.
Turns out I wasn’t alone as now many many people have reached out to me inspired by my story, and sharing similar ones. There are a lot of people out there scared to come of out of the “broom closet” or even the “I like crystals and reiki closet.”
I know what it’s like to think it’s safer to hide who you are than to be yourself and speak your mind. I covered up my vulnerable true essence so well I forgot I was hiding from the world. But now I’m an angel columnist, and I just published in an anthology about the year I kept pulling the Death card and crows started following around– I’m me, again. And it feels amazing. I’m happier than I have ever ever been. And people still like me.
I’ve been through the fear and back. That’s why I’m passionate about sharing EFT and Sacred Writing, some the most useful and empowering tools that have helped me so much to hear myself think and remember who I am.
It’s lucky I found EFT to address these fears. After reclaiming my right to freedom of religion, the fears came back up again as I decided to try and create a spiritual business based around my uncanny ability to know helpful things about people I’ve never met in real life. Through this I’ve learned something amazing. As I tapped, I remembered things and even had flashes and feelings which led me to believe without a doubt that the truth is that the thing inside of me that makes me Sofia has been on the planet before, and had some pretty negative experiences.
I’ve also now worked with many people privately, guiding them through healing work to release the pain from past life trauma and hearing them share new memories coming to them!
Many spiritual healers, writers, teachers and entrepreneurs who are HIDING their gift and message have had current life problems AND past live traumas where they got hurt because they didn’t hid well enough.
I feel so passionately that we need to heal these traumas so we can break out of the patterns holding us back. These videos aren’t perfect but I’m being asked for resources on this quite often — so here’s a round up!
