This is an opportunity for you to get more done and feel good doing it. It’s an absolutely essential technique in my life and one I recommend to all my students and coaching clients.
Why? Because most of us are focused on the things that are different every day, and forget about the important habits we need to form and keep every day.
Habits are the road to peace, well being and calm— and that’s what helps you to make the most of your time instead of frittering it away on unimportant things like facebook, etc.
Also when we are working hard, we can neglect our wellbeing in such a way that causes burnout. This technique will prevent that.
For those of you who are writers–I recommend making writing a daily habit. You can adopt the Morning Pages technique by Julia Cameron, or make it a few pages on your current project.
For those of you who are self employed– make sure creating a daily todo list or top 3 priority list each day to keep you focused.
