It’s been over three weeks now since I posed the forgiveness challenge. {And it’s not too late to join!}
In this time I have learned so much and I want to share it with you, because this is a big deal.
There is a reason so many spiritual leaders speak of forgiveness,
as being really important.
It will enable you to create and have what you want, and be who you want.
What I have discovered is this:
Once upon a time we made a mistake.
Maybe we decided it was a mistake,
or a parent did,
or someone else judged us,
or someone like us,
or they got upset,
or we got disappointed on some level–
The point is we made a mistake,
and the helpful survival instinct in us,
held on to the energy of that moment,
to teach us a lesson,
so we would never do that again.
The way this works is like squishing the trash down.
You know on those days you don’t feel like taking it out.
So you want to make a little extra room.
In this case your ego, survival instinct, squished you.
It didn’t think it was ok for you to take up any more room.
And it wouldn’t let you take the trash out either,
because you needed to remember
your stinky mistakes. For a very long time.
Maybe forever.
Because unless you go in and consciously release,
all that garbage from its compressed state,
it’s really really heavy to carry.
Until it’s released and brought to the curb,
we carry that heavy trash energy everywhere we go,
Whatever place you were in at that point of your life,
when it felt like you made a mistake
all those emotions, feelings, and other crap,
got condensed inside of your body.
Until you forgive they are mashed in the bin still.
Forgiveness allows it to release.
We can let go, and grow and move on.
It’s possible to learn another way than having this physical reminder.
We need to use forgiveness to release the old garbage,
from our bodies, minds and spirits.
And listen–there is a value to garbage,
ask one of my favorite birds the crows,
who love foraging. And they don’t need to kill much to survive,
when they can just pick leftovers, right? That’s nice.
Pretty handy.
It’s Recycling.
It works the same with energy.
Let go of the past and create something new,
And you can keep some of the old too because:
There is something valueable in every trashheap of your life.
There is some kind of GOLD in the lead of your experience.
OMG do I have stories from this month about that!!!!
But anyway, forgiveness is like sifting all the useable ENERGY,
from that trash and letting go of the dross.
You don’t need the waste, that can go, but whatever you were
holding onto did serve an important function.
Like keeping you save, or empowering you to avoid harmful situations.
The intention of that energy is good. It’s GOLD actually.
We can keep our good intentions.
But we can let go of the other garbage functions, like
The function of reminding you that you don’t deserve what you want
What do you want?
To create something?
What about just letting go and relaxing
being yourself in the world.
Just be you. it’s ok.
It’s easier to be and have what you want when you forgive yourself because then there isn’t a pile of stinky trash to make you feel like you should be doing something other than enjoying yourself, because of that bad feeling something that occurred a long long time ago.
You might even be in a different place now entirely and still be hanging onto something old.
Are you ready to let go?
I’m ready.
I’m ready to let that go,
anything that doesn’t serve me,
or the world at large,
and I’m ready to create something new–
And I’ll be telling you about that very very very soon.
Tomorrow in fact 🙂 And I’ll be giving you a taste of what is to come for free as well,
So keep an eye out for the announcement here!
Save the gold.
Leave the rest at the curb.
