I have to admit that I have a cynical side.
Although I have always loved magic, rituals and setting intentions, as a teen I saw people believe in positive thinking, make risky investments and lose my childhood house!
I always want to be wise, practical and smart to avoid worst case scenarios.
BUT what I learned through time–even though I totally resisted it–is that there is something to be said for all this spiritual stuff.
You just have to have a balance. You have to have a balance between spiritual stuff, going for your dreams, and also being wise, practical.
It’s life with one foot on two different planes.
Two things at once, like how a mermaid is part human and part oceanic.
So speaking of balance:
