Things people are saying about the Digital Organization Club:
“I’m having so much fun with it.”
“I’m going to continue!”
“I highly recommend this course if you feel overwhelmed with a bunch of ideas.“
“saved me hours and hours of searching!”
Hi! I’m Sofia Wren and
I used to have a lot of trouble finding things.
I couldn’t use all of my ideas.
I’m a writer and entrepreneur.
After 25+ years publishing writing online and 10 years in business,
I found myself with way too many notebooks and documents.
I knew I had a lot of juicy ideas that I had written down but I couldn’t keep track of them. I used to always feel like my ideas were falling into the cracks.
My Journey to organize my ideas
Hitting 30 was a wake up call. I felt unfulfilled and I needed a life change.
I decided to move to Japan.
BIG PROJECT!
This huge undertaking gave me extra motivation to get organized.
I had two things I really needed to organize:
Long story short: I was able to organize my tasks (goal #1) relatively quickly.
But Goal #2 was a hard nut to crack.
When it came to goal #2 the PROBLEM WAS:
Even after I learned to juggle tasks and be productive,
I still couldn’t organize my ideas.
Maybe it’s because I’m not a linear thinker– instead of ABC, I think in XJF.
I had tried other people’s methods, putting ideas in folders, tagging —
I still wasn’t using my notes. I wasn’t finding all of my ideas.
I kept finding old notebooks with brilliant ideas I hadn’t used.
What was I doing?! I was wasting time. Life is too short to waste if I want to reach my full potential.
After blaming myself and my brain for a while, I finally just started asking,
What am I missing? What don’t I know? How can I support myself to be better organized?
To find out what to do, I decided to learn more about organization. I found masters like Tiago Forte, Nick Milo, and even got 1-1 productivity coaches to help me.
In doing so I discovered several new kinds of technology that work better for the way I think, and for all my messy ideas. I created new ways of using them that worked for me.
Not only did I eventually learn how to organize my files, the names of people in my network, but
drum roll please
I learned how to organize my messy ideas… by working SIDEWAYS.
It turns out my my mistake was depending on traditional ways to organize files in folders.
I found a different way. Instead of organizing in just a linear or top down way, I could get to my notes sideways.
If I forgot the name of something or where it was, I could use themes, or other information to find it quickly.
It’s just like wikipedia: I don’t need to know the name of something if I want to find it.
For example, if I can’t remember the name of the Mayflower boat that brought people to the Americas, I can go to Wikipedia and look up American history, or colonialism and click through to find the name of the “Mayflower.”
I didn’t need to know the name to find the entry, or exact information about it, I can use related themes to get there from the side.
I found a way to organize my ideas just like this, and IT’S FREE.
A free application called Obsidian allowed me to connect things in this way. Now my ideas look like this:
FINALLY A SOLUTION TO IDEA MESS AND CHAOS.
My new way of organizing thoughts in a web helps me find things in seconds.
But this didn’t all happen in a day.
I had to put it to work and make it work for me….
But it totally paid off. With time I created my system to put:
Chaos to order.
Order to Inspiration.
Because I was so organized, I also felt more regular and consistent inspiration. I saved time and energy every time I instantly found something, and could use my energy to take action and create a huge uplevel in my life.
Including:
-getting married
-publishing 25 articles in 6 months
-selling out multiple classes in my business
And I had a big surprise:
when my father died in 2021, I was 34, and my priorities changed.
Before that I was a workaholic. Running my business, & publishing my writing WAS my life.
Suddenly work didn’t feel as important as my life goals:
getting physically strong, overcoming anxiety, feeling happier, addressing my lack of motivation and healing from trauma and loss.
I had to fit that ALL that in around my business, writing and the big increase in responsibilities since my dad died.
But the great news is that even when my life changed drastically,
none of my work to get organized was wasted!
Even as my goals became more life related, my new organizational system was the perfect support.
Even when life changes, no matter what new goals I set for writing, work or life, this system supports me.
That’s how I know I’m really onto something!
Across my life, writing and work, so much is steadily improving now that I am more organized!
Organization benefits my life and mental health by:
- Remembering my real priorities:
I can finally break old patterns because I remember what I learn. No more forgetting. Clarity is lasting! - Sense of peace:
Everything is ok. I can relax. All my ideas are written down and I know I’ll find it - Better boundaries:
I stand my ground more because I know what’s really important to me. - More confidence:
I value my ideas and I take myself seriously. I feel empowered. I am learning and growing in all the right ways.
Plus it benefits my writing and business by:
- Saving time:
No more taking an hour to find a document or file. - More energy:
Since it’s easy to find everything I need, I can jump into the task at hand with full energy. - Writing articles, emails and blogs easily:
I am never starting from scratch when I write because all my great ideas are at my finger tips! - The satisfaction of synthesizing:
I’m building on my ideas, and developing them into something even better. I feel like a genius. - Better quality work:
I’m feeling prouder of what I create, and share it with more people. I can even reuse or reference my work again over time.
My mind can finally empty out.
Everything is okay.
It’s all written down and I know where to find it.
I am getting things done and I’m focused on my wellbeing.
Pursuing what I want, what I desire, and how to bring that out in the world.
I feel grounded and stable, and I’m taking really good care of myself.
I’m making progress. I know what’s important.
I’m pushing everything I care about in a good direction.
I know my system may not be the solution that everyone on the planet needs (nothing is), but it’s too good for me NOT to share.
In 2024 I started this Digital Organization Club for people who want to get organized and feel good together.
In this membership you will learn my two systems:
- Organize tasks to advance your creative, business or life goals.
- Connect messy, creative ideas to write for books and businesses.
Learn how to use free applications: Notion for tasks, and Obsidian for messy thoughts.
The fall will continue with a 3 month program with a special focus on Obsidian and GOAL # 2: connecting messy ideas so you can make progress on goals for life, writing, business and more.
Sofia’s organization class helped me sort through my business files and organize them to optimize my work flow.
It saves me alot of time, because I know where my files are stored and they are easy to access.
No more searching and frustration over data I can’t find. Thanks, Sofia! You’re a life saver!!

EXTENDED ACCESS TO SOFIA FOR Q&A
Contact me for questions: Not only can you ask questions and get help during our live sessions,
If you can’t attend live or have a followup question,
you can send me questions by email, or send me texts/voice notes in our private Voxer group.
I use voice, text, images, and short videos to reply.
Sometimes your questions even inspire me to answer more fully in the next class.
“Obsidian and Notion are powerful tools and Sofia shortens your learning curve.
She is dedicated to making sure that your questions are answered either live or in the Voxer support group.
Could I watch a YouTube?
Probably but Sofia’s learning structure builds and provides the scaffolding. I feel empowered to implement.
Anytime I felt overwhelmed, the next session addressed my concerns.
Plus the Voxer support and her dedication to support the group was an added bonus.
I highly recommend this Digital Organization course if you are working on a complex project and you feel scattered, disorganized and overwhelmed.
I highly recommend this course if you feel overwhelmed with a bunch of ideas.
You will learn to build your own knowledge base and resources to help you navigate your unique creative cycle.
This course would be great for students learning complex subjects (ex. Nursing, Financial Planning, Accounting, etc) or anyone who is interested in becoming a better writer.

I love Sofia’s Digital Organization Club.
She is a great teacher with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She provides weekly reminders for us to let go of perfection and try things.
I signed up for the summer club because I am writing a book and was searching through years of blogs, journals, and articles I’d written. It was taking me hours to find things.
Learning how to use Obsidian and spending thirty minutes each week uploading content has saved me hours and hours of searching! I’m signing up again!

Hi Sofia,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this Digital Organization program!
I have tried before to learn and use Obsidian, but always felt too overwhelmed to really get a lot of value out of it.
But through your sessions I was able to become comfortable with using it and create a system that I know I will continue to use.
And I know that my Obsidian vault is going to become more and more useful to me over time (it already has).
I’m having so much fun with it, and am finally able to let go of making it “perfect” and just make it work for me, knowing that it improves every day.
It’s helping me get ready to teach a class. I’m using all of the notes and resources I’ve gathered (and linked) in Obsidian to create the curriculum!
Best,
Naomi

What you will learn
Learn a specific way to store writing so you can always find it, which doesn’t depend on linear thinking, like putting stuff into folders.
By writing across different themes or similar ideas, you can add various documents like journal entries, long term projects, business content, car rants, half thoughts, all of the above, and be able to find them later.
Through connecting and developing your ideas, you’ll turn them into something tangible like long form writing for books and business.
I can teach you to organize your messy ideas. You’ll see that once you have your ideas organized, most of the work of writing is already done!
My Vision for You
I have created a program with everything I’ve learned to address this program–
it will change your life!
How it can help you
- keep track of notes from your healing, writing and business journey.
- avoid repeating the same patterns and mistakes because you remember what you have learned.
- easily find your best work and ideas so you can feel satisfied that you are reaching your full potential.
- make faster progress writing and creating for books, businesses and more
You will achieve Organizational Goals 1 and 2 because
A. You know how to find your notes and ideas using recent technology to support you.
B. You make it a consistent practice to stay organized, and take your ideas to the next level.
I have put the tools to achieve this together in one place:
Sofia Wren’s Digital Organization Club
It’s a safe place to love on your past, present and future self:
Because you’ll be able to find things even in the future.
You will stop wasting time looking for things because you’ll know where it is:
organize everything you need for books, classes and business content, or life goals and personal development work.
You’ll spend your sessions with us stringing your ideas together; going from scattered to polished and put together.
You will learn new ways to organize things, but more importantly, you will set aside time every month to chip away at the chaos and order your ideas.
When your ideas are organized, you can build on what you came up with in the past. Your writing will be so good you’ll impress yourself.
You will complete things and feel so proud of what you can do when you put your mind to it!
I hope to see you in our upcoming classes inside the club.
With love,
Sofia Wren
